All American Foods
As I have been preparing for next Saturday, Lithuania Night!!!, I remembered a list I had made a few weeks ago...a friend of mine was having her brother and his new bride (from England) as houseguests. She had recently been to England for the wedding and had tried many foods, so she wanted to prepare some American foods in return. This was intriguing to me, so I researched a bit to come up with a list of foods that we claim here in The United States. I started wondering what foods our neighbors would find if they researched our country for their own Ethnic Food Night!! Now, of course, we have a very mixed culture, and many of our foods come from the various countries our ancestors originate, but here is the list I came up with:
